Want to see Rice Integrated Environmental Monitoring at work? Come demo & view Live Data now!

We’ve been talking a lot about Integrated Environmental solutions at Rice over the past few months.  From monitoring groundwater or surface water, measuring soil salinity, to observing wind, rain, & solar radiation patterns – we can help you set up your Environmental monitoring program pretty much anywhere across Canada.

But – we understand that talking about equipment is not as powerful as seeing it’s capabilities in use.

That’s why we’ve put our equipment to work through a series of devices at our Edmonton location.  We have drilled a series of environmental monitoring wells, anchored a fixed compact weather station, and have integrated multiple sensors through a solar-powered, cellular-connected datalogging system.  While we will always rotate through the latest and greatest technologies, we have the following set up running for to explore today:

  • In one installation, we have an AquaTROLL 200 connected to a VuSitu integrated Datalogger/Cellular Telemetry device.
  • We also have a HydroMace XCi cellular datalogger connected to multiple devices.  Currently, these include; a LevelTROLL 700 measuring level, temperature & pressure in a groundwater well nearby, and a Luftt WS-801 Compact Weather Station.
  • All recorded data is captured in one instance of our comprehensive web-based Data Management software – HydroVu.

To get a feel for how this information could help you, see real & live data coming from our devices through our HydroVu platform here.  Or view it any time on our website in the HydroVu link either on the product page or on our website footer below!

If you want to test, see, or get trained on equipment in person, please chat with us online, contact us or call us today!
